Arcoda Lodge owned by Tania & Dean Boyd is situated half an hour south of Christchurch on the north banks of the picturesque’ Rakaia River. We have been breeding since 1997 on a very select and focused scale, endeavouring to fulfil our dream to produce an all round obliging New Zealand sport horse.

By crossing thoroughbred mares (all with jumping bloodlines) and warmblood mares to our thoroughbred cross quarter horse stallions, we have been able to breed a sport horse with extreme prettiness to foot it with the show hacks and the substance, strength, athleticism and movement to make it as a dressage horse, show-jumper, show-hunter or an eventer.
